Hello Everyone, I hope all of the health and fitness goals that you made are still going strong! As the owner and lead instructor of JB Group Fitness I wanted to take the time to let all of you know that we will not be offering any classes this spring.
My husband, Stephen, and I are expecting our first babies this month. You read that right, we are expecting twins! Surprise! Or at least it was a major surprise to us seeing as twins do not run in either or our families. We are very excited and feel blessed to be given this new adventure and chapter in our lives.
My hope is that everything will go smoothly and we will be able to pick up with some more evening line dance classes (and possibly a few other exercise formats) this summer. Once the babies are here and we are all healthy I will update this page to show more information on when and where we will be offering classes.
In the meantime if you are looking for some fun classes to take you can check out the Shawnee County Parks and Rec. website to see the current class schedule and information on their fitness pass. The fitness pass can be purchased in 3 different ways: 5 visits for $20, 10 visits for $40, or 20 visits for $80. That means you are paying only $4 per class! What a deal!
As always, when your goal is to get or stay in shape, make sure that you find an exercise class or activity that you actually have fun doing. If you are new to exercising, try a few different types of exercise classes to see what fits you best. Take baby steps initially and then progressively increase the intensity and/or duration. You’ll have a better overall experience and you’ll find it easier to stick with it. I wish you all the best!
